ACA, New England offers access to a variety of educational programs throughout the year. These meetings and educational opportunities are geared towards people working in the summer camp field but are open to the public for registration.

Course Description
This in-person course is led by a team of experienced directors and consultants who provide invaluable materials and hands-on training scenarios. The New Camp Director Workshop is for full-time, part-time, or aspiring camp directors. The course will touch on the many topics that a camp director needs to keep at the forefront: Hiring, supervision, campers, training, risk management, firing and so many more!
All participants are expected to attend the entire course. If you are taking this course as part of the Massachusetts licensing requirements, you will not receive a certificate unless you attend the entire class.
Each year we offer an exciting opportunity for attendees to visit a selection of our accredited camps in New England! This is a great opportunity to see a variety of camp properties, experience how other organizations run their programs and facilities, re-energize by networking with peers, discuss lessons learned and hot topics from the past summer, and gain new ideas as your year-round season begins.
The Fall Seminar is an in-person one-day seminar for camp professionals focused on a specific topic relevant to the summer camp industry. Topics range from year-to-year, but have included: risk management, policies and procedures, staffing, recruitment and marketing, and more!

Businesses interested in exhibiting can get information about the CampEXPO and download the vendor application. Prospective presenters can submit session/program proposals from late August to mid-October. Registration for the upcoming New England Camp Conference will open in November.

The Staffing Summit is an online event featuring critical learning, speaker panels, roundtables, and engaging sessions over multiple days. The virtual delivery of the conference increases the benefits of convenience and value while preserving the great networking and timely information, which are hallmarks of ACA conferences. We will share practical solutions addressing the staffing shortage, innovative ways to recruit staff, and best practices for staff retention.
