This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for acanewengland.org. This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this website. It will notify you of the following:

Our Commitment to Our Donors

We will not sell, share or trade our donors’ names or Personal Information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations. This applies to all information received both online and offline, on any platform, as well as any electronic, written, or verbal communications.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us. We will not sell, rent, or give this information to anyone unless where you give us permission to do so, e.g. when uploading a resume to our Job Board.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request or where authorized to do so by you.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via e-Mail in the future to tell you about updates, upcoming events, news and information, or changes to this privacy policy.

Accessing and Modifying Information and Communication Preferences

Upon request, ACA, New England will grant individuals reasonable access to Personal Information that we and our agents hold about them. For example, visitors to the website who have provided Personal Information to us may review and/or make changes to the same by contacting ACA, New England. In addition, individuals may manage their receipt of marketing communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of any ACA, New England marketing e-Mail. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to process such requests in a timely manner. You should be aware, however, that it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in our subscription databases.

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and processed through a third-party payment processor securely. Please be aware that most event registrations, member registrations and data collection, etc. for members and accredited camps of the American Camp Association are done through our National affiliate, www.acacamps.org and while we have access to such data, are not responsible for it’s secure collection or storage.

Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you may choose whether or not to participate and therefore disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and phone number), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level).
