Reporting to the Executive Director, the Operations & Finance Coordinator serves as an integral member of the Operations Team, responsible for managing the core financial and administrative functions of the ACA, New England office.  This position will provide the highest level of customer service to ACA, New England members and accredited camps.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, processing checks & credit card payments, preparing deposits and reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparing for annual audit, Form 990, and 1099’s.
  • Assist with budget preparation, tracking expenses, and generating financial reports as needed.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records, both electronic and hard copy, in accordance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to staff members, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and handling phone calls related to safety, accreditation, and membership matters.
  • Assist with general office duties, such as ordering supplies, organizing files, and coordinating mailings.
  • Assist with research and cost comparisons for vendors to maintain cost effectiveness and quality.

This is a full-time, year-round position.

  • Database and data entry skills
  • Some bending and lifting required

Suggested Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in administrative work and office management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial management and accounting
  • Experience with information technology/systems management
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and database management
  • Highly organized, efficient, and detail oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
