Sailing programming is incredibly dynamic and beneficial for positive youth development in a camp environment. Providing an equal platform for physical activity, learning, and teamwork, boating can be added to any camp program or improved at your current facility with adequate staff training, curriculum, and safety procedures.
In this session, led by Jen Guimaraes of US Sailing, participants will dive into these three areas. You will learn more about developing boating/paddling-specific emergency action plans, training your staff, and designing effective curriculum to keep campers engaged and having fun!
