The health and safety of our New England Camp Conference attendees is important to us at ACA, New England. We will be monitoring local and CDC guidance with regards to COVID-19 mitigation and will update these protocols as new information/guidance is presented. If you are feeling unwell, have any symptoms of COVID-19, or have been in close contact with someone with a confirmed case of COVID-19 within 14 days, we ask that you stay home. As of now (10/18/21), the following is planned:
Vaccination Requirement: Attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, and staff will be required to show valid proof of COVID-19 vaccination that includes name/date/dose details OR a negative PCR test that shows valid details (name/date/location/medical results) within 72 hours of event arrival (at-home tests are not accepted at this time). Details on these procedures will be outlined and shared with you as the event approaches.
Masking: Based on recent CDC guidance, we will ask event attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, and ACA staff to wear their face mask or covering at all times while indoors and when physical distancing is difficult outdoors (other than while eating or in their private rooms), regardless of their vaccination status. Presenters will be permitted to be unmasked during their sessions, if desired, and will be distanced 6’ or more from session participants.
Current guidance from the CDC and the New Hampshire Municipal Association indicates that:
- If you are not fully vaccinated and aged 2 or older, you should wear a mask in indoor public places.
- If you are fully vaccinated, to maximize protection from the Delta variant and prevent possibly spreading it to others, wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission.
ACA, New England will monitor guidance and transmission rates as the event nears and reserves the right to update this making policy closer to the event.
Hotel & Meeting Space: The hotel has increased cleaning protocols and hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the venue We are working with the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown to adapt layouts to include opportunities for physical distancing when possible. Additionally, we will monitor local and state regulations related to group gatherings and adjust when and where necessary.
