Crossroads is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic Office and Health Manager who wants to spend their summer making a life-changing impact on young people. Spend your summer in a fun, dynamic environment with incredible kids and inspiring colleagues.

Each summer, over 1000 kids from Greater Boston and Brockton attend one of our 3 residential summer camps, and 600 of those youth continue year-round in programming focused on Leadership Development, Community Action and College Access.

We hire a diverse team of passionate, dedicated counselors to inspire, mentor and build meaningful relationships with the youth that we serve. This is made possible through teambuilding, sports, swimming lessons, performing arts and adventure activities. Becoming a Crossroads Counselor is a terrific opportunity for people who are interested in pursuing endeavors in Child Development, Teaching, Social Work, Psychology and more.

Position starts on June 22nd and finishes on August 26th. Camp stipends are based on experience. Room & Board Included.

Essential Functions:


  • Managing Camp communications; answering phones, directing calls, taking messages, answering emails
  • Maintain and keep all registration files
  • Keep office organized and professionally presentable
  • Receive and greet visitors
  • Assist with Federal Food Paperwork
  • General clerical responsibilities for Program Staff
  • Supervise dispensing of stamps and office supplies to staff
  • Monitor camp vehicles, visitor and staff parking

Health Center:

  • Supervise dispensing of stamps and office supplies to staff
  • Work with our RN to manage the health center
  • Provide basic first aid to staff and campers
  • Administer daily medications to campers
  • Organize all paperwork and keep medical paperwork up to date


  • Assist with camper check‐in and sign‐out 
  • Assist with ordering and purchasing of program supplies
  • Assist in covering for support staff days off
  • Be available to assist with evening activities
  • Take meal counts during all meals summer food program
  • Receive and send any camp mail


  • First aid & CPR/AED qualification
  • Experience working in an office setting
  • Experience with computer use and software programs such as Microsoft Office and Google
  • A valid driver’s license is required
  • Must be 21+ years old
