Ceramics Instructor - Camp Nashoba North


Job Description

Camp Nashoba North is looking for passionate potters to teach campers the fine art of ceramics. Responsibilities include teaching, lesson planning, living with campers, maintaining program space, and being a good role model.

Room & board included with competitive salary.

Internship credit available for all applicants at no penalty to salary

Location: Raymond, Maine

Type of Position: Specialized Activity Leader

Time Frame: Seasonal

Salary: $1750 - $2150 (or more, depending on age and experience)


  • 18+ Have completed one year of college, or other similar away-from-home program
  • Available June 16 - August 16


  • Experience with wheel and hand building
  • Knowledgable of glazes and glazing process
  • At least a basic understanding of firing clay pieces (Kiln training available)
  • Past experience working with children in any capacity (though teaching experience a plus!)

Ask about internship credit! Though easiest with art or teaching majors, we enjoy working with colleges and universities to ensure our staff members truly get the most out of their summer.
