Wilderness Trip Co-Leader/Camp Counselor

Well-established Adventure Program within a progressive Maine camp is seeking individuals to lead a group of 14-16-year-old campers on trips all over Maine. Some adventures include; Wilderness Canoe Trips (Allagash & St. Croix Rivers), White Water Rafting, tours around Quebec City, hiking Mount Katahdin, and more!

Requirements:

We are seeking individuals with:

• Experience working with children
• Intermediate to advanced outdoor skills including, camping, canoeing, hiking, and rock climbing
• Prior experience instructing and/or instructor certifications preferred
• Enthusiasm and motivation to act as a positive role model for campers
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to problem solve and multi-task
• Adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges.
