This week we are pleased to introduce Camp Hazen YMCA as camp #12 of our ongoing Camp Spotlight Series. Founded in 1920, Camp Hazen’s day and overnight programs are two reasons New England is considered the true home of summer camp.

Ninety years after its founding, Camp Hazen YMCA is still going strong! Located on 150 acres on Cedar Lake in Chester, CT, Camp Hazen YMCA offers the chance to canoe, swim and explore all while building strong character, leadership skills and making new friends!

Camp Hazen YMCA balances the traditional aspects of summer camp like singing, building camp fires and camping out under the stars with the nontraditional such as a high ropes course, a zip line, climbing wall and more!
