SUMMARY:MESH(+) Seal Info Session with ACH
DESCRIPTION:Join our partners at Alliance for Camp Health (ACH) for a free info session about the MESH(+) Seal and what it can do for your camp!\nMESH(+) Seal Program Overview\nAt a time when young people and adults are all longing to be seen\, feel heard\, and sense authentic connection\, ACH is exploring the best ways to elevate care for healthier communities. Your desire to obtain the MESH(+) Seal helps us reach that goal by creating an opportunity to examine your program through a comprehensive well-being lens.\nThe MESH(+) Seal program recognizes camps and programs that intentionally evaluate and integrate Mental\, Emotional\, and Social Health(+) throughout their operations. MESH(+) Seal programs consciously incorporate practices and strategies that enhance mental health\, emotional resilience\, social development\, and overall well-being in meaningful ways. \nA Process of Discovery and Growth\nThe MESH(+) Seal application process serves as a valuable analysis and reflection framework as you develop your program’s comprehensive approach to camper and staff well-being. Through documenting your current practices and reflecting on the MESH(+) Seal specific required elements\, you’ll gain insights into opportunities for integrating well-being practices into existing programming\, identifying staff training opportunities\, and establishing evaluation tools. \nThis process invites you to look at the camp experience from every angle\, considering how your program supports the whole camper while also exploring how you can create a more positive\, meaningful\, and rewarding experience for your staff. \nThe Four Pillars of MESH(+)\nThe MESH(+) Seal evaluates programs across four health-related pillars:\n1. Summer Program Design: Your activities integrate mental\, emotional\, and social health principles into every aspect of the camp experience\, from daily schedules to special events.\n2. Staff Training: Your team receives specialized preparation in recognizing youth mental health needs\, implementing evidence-based practices\, and creating positive environments for all campers.\n3. Health Screening and Intake: You maintain comprehensive processes that identify individual camper needs and strengths\, allowing for personalized approaches to support and growth.\n4. Medication and Care Measures: Your protocols extend beyond traditional camp health services to include ongoing support systems that respond to both community and individual needs. \nJoin the Growing Movement\nIf you are interested in learning more or discovering how your camp or program can apply for the October 1\, 2026 – March 1\, 2027 MESH(+) Seal submission window\, please join us for this MESH(+) Seal Overview Webinar and hear directly from a panel of camp professionals who have gone through the process. \nWhat: MESH(+) Seal Overview Webinar: Beyond Compliance: How MESH(+) Challenges Values-Based Excellence \nWhen: October 8\, 2026 @ 2 pm EST | 1 pm CST | 11 am PST \nCost: FREE \nClick here to register!\nQuestions?
