DESCRIPTION:What’s the Buzz On: What Does It Mean to be Gender Inclusive at a Single-Gender Camp?\nFREE for ACA members.\nPlease only register for this session if you work at/represent a single-gender camp. \nWhether you attended ACA\, New England’s Learnings from the Field – What Does it Mean to Be Gender Inclusive at My Camp? in October and want to dig into this conversation as a single-gender camp -OR- this is a question your single-gender camp is working through\, we invite you to join us for a peer discussion session. During our time together\, participants will have the opportunity to: \n\nDiscuss how you define gender at your single-gender camp;\nExplore how you can prepare your camp to create a safe and welcoming environment for all; and\nShare challenges and best-practices with others\n\nWhile ACA\, New England staff will moderate the conversation\, we are not experts in the topic and will aim to create a forum for open and respectful discussion\, crowdsourcing\, and resource-sharing. \nCome prepared to have your videos on\, ask questions\, and engage in dialogue.
