This time of the year is my favorite. Everything is happening at once! Having the chance to visit with so many camp pros and staff at our conference makes this the most exciting time in our year. I hope to see you in Manchester in two weeks, where you will find something for everyone and where you can expect to connect with the extended New England camp community at an educational event built especially for the people who power camps across CT, MA, ME, NH, RI & VT. If you have not signed up, I encourage you to join us.

Did you vote yet? The process of electing new officers of and members of our board of directors is happening right now. If you did not receive the email containing a link to the ballot please reply to this email so we can get the link to you before the deadline on March 18th.

Our Camp Champions initiative has really taken off and there is quite a bit of information about it in this newsletter. In addition to Camp Champions, several New England individuals and programs were honored at the national ACA Conference in Atlanta. We are thrilled to share details of those awards as well. It meant a great deal to me to be present as Jack Erler, Esq. received the Special Recognition Award for forty years of advocacy and representation for the summer camps of Maine.

As families are finalizing their camp choices and camps are staffing up and confirming preparations for Summer 2016, we have been proactive in our attempts to attract attention and coverage by the New England media. The visibility generated by Camp Champions and our appearance in numerous recent articles is intended to focus families and the public on three very important words: ACA Accredited Camp. Check out some of the recent pieces that include mentions of ACA New England and our camps and Members.

So, I hope we have had heard (or will hear shortly) from Members submitting board election ballots and from camp pros and staff here in New England who want to register for the Conference!

See you soon,
