More than 500 CYJ alums and their families came to Amherst, New Hampshire in late August to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Camp Young Judaea. The day featured the opportunity to participate in Shabbat services, take part in fun activities for all ages, look through old yearbooks, find their name inscribed inside a bunk, enjoy the waterfront and athletic fields, and just catch up with bunkmates and counselors. Bouncy houses, an ice cream truck, song and dance sessions and a moving Havdalah service were some of the highlights. Executive Director Ken Kornreich noted,

"Over and over, alums tried to put into words the incredible impact that CYJ had on them. The atmosphere was absolutely electric with positive feelings about CYJ then and now." That evening, a special night-time event attracted more than 200 people who danced the night away.
