Trip Director & Teen Program Assistant - Mass Audubon's Wildwood


Job Description

The Wildwood Trip Director is a seasonal position starting June 3rd and ending August 25th. This position, with the aid of the Wildwood trek staff, will be responsible for facilitating all aspects of offsite camp experiences, including menu planning, outfitting, and trip logistics. The trip director works closely with the Teen Program Coordinator and Camp Director to review and approve itineraries and trip reports in a timely fashion. The trip director will occasionally work offsite executing resupplies, or substituting for trip leader should the need arise. Additionally this position will also periodically assist the Teen Program Coordinator in other aspects of wildwood teen programs.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and hold valid Wilderness First Aid and CPR certifications. Valid Driver’s License is required. Experience leading overnight camping experience or adventure travel trips. Must successfully pass background screening (CORI/SORI).


Prior trip leading experience. Prior leadership or logistics support role in a trip program.

Additional Information

Salary paid biweekly, comprehensive training, housing and meals for the duration of employment, and other benefits. Salary for the season is $4000+ DOE.
