Program Coordinators work closely with the entire staff team to ensure the delivery of a balance of technology learning and traditional summer camp activities - it’s Technically Fun!

Program Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Attend staff training week and complete all online pre-camp training
  • Live on campus and execute all non-tech aspects of our program: recreation, evening program, special events and field trips
  • Organize, distribute and maintain all activity supplies and equipment
  • Organize campers into groups as needed for program activities
  • Observe activities and ensure the quality delivery of recreation curriculums and program schedules
  • Be alert to and active in addressing the needs of campers and staff – provide support, care and nurturing
  • Additional responsibilities assigned as required

Requirements

Requirements:

  • 2 years of college in education, recreation or related field
  • Prior leadership experience working/volunteering with youth, preferably in a camp setting
  • Experience coordinating the delivery of recreational or other small and large group activities for children
  • Experience planning special events
  • Capability to relate to youth and adults in a positive manner
  • Desire to lead games, songs, classes, and other activities with groups of children
