Outdoor Program Manager The Outdoor Program Manager will provide opportunities that encourage girls, adults, and families to expand their outdoor experiences throughout the year for the Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England (GSSNE). GSSNE owns and operates one resident camp and four day camps. The Outdoor Program Manager supports the planning and delivery of camp programs during the summer season and periodic weekend camp programs during the rest of the year. Additionally, the Outdoor Program Manager plans and executes outdoor programming year-round. The Outdoor Program Manager hires and manages on-site seasonal camp directors and camp staff, and works closely with GSSNE property staff to achieve long-range planning objectives.

Salary: Salary range: $36,000 - $40,000
Bachelor's Degree required/Masters preferred
Minimum two years of experience in organized camp leadership, preferably at a Camp Director level, including camp program development, delivery and evaluation, business and operating procedures, marketing and strategic planning.
Proficient in the use of Windows and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and ability to use the Internet and to learn/use specialized or proprietary software.
• Knowledge of RI/MA state-organized camp laws and American Camp Association standards.
• Training and experience in teaching program to adults and children.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills; excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and presentation skills.
• Project management skills to be able to comply with a budget and be accountable for expenditures, inventories and other Council resources.
