Job Description


• Function as general all round-cook for all meals and special events
• Responsible for meals being properly prepared and served on time following guidance from Head Chef
• Prepare and serve food in an appealing manner
• Maintain Salad bar and Deli bar
• Work together with kitchen staff and delegating as appropriate
• Receive and store food stuffs and supplies in proper storage areas
• Clean food service areas and secure kitchen at the completion of each work period
• Follow all rules of local and state health regulations.
• Keep daily food production and sanitation records
• Responsible for overseeing sanitation records for utility and dish washing areas
• Adapting to new assigned duties as necessary

Salary: $15-$18/hr



• Ability to lift/unload food and supplies
• Stand, lift, operate for a full shift
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
• Communicate well with other team members
• Interpret written menus and meal plans
• Respect Camp rules and policies
• Role model through positive behavior



• Experience as a cook or assistant cook
• Training and experience in meal preparation for large groups
• Strong work ethic
• Knowledge of basic standards of food preparation, sanitation and food safety procedures (SERVSAFE preferred).
• Ability to work well with others

Additional Information

Compensation for this position is considered as a weekly salary projecting approximately 48 hours per week or less. Staff children tuition discount available for girls and boys.
