Job Description

Leaders-In-Training Facilitator is a seasonal live-on-site position starting June 6th and ending August 25th. They live and work directly with 15-17 year-old program participants (LITs), working closely with the LIT Co-Directors to offer positive and meaningful leadership and conservation curriculum and experiences to teens. The Wildwood LIT program focuses on developing teens to become strong conservation voices and leaders in their homes and communities.

Requirements

Applicants must have experience working with children or teens in an outdoor setting and an interest in facilitating a leadership development program. The LIT Facilitator must be 20+ years old, hold current First Aid and CPR certifications and a valid driver’s license. Must possess a love of nature that can be articulated to participants, and basic level of environmental literacy. Must successfully pass background screening (CORI/SORI).

Experience

Additional compensation available for Wilderness First Aid or Lifeguard certifications.

Additional Information
