The Barton Center for Diabetes Education is a residential summer camp with a mission to improve the lives of children with insulin-dependent diabetes through education, recreation, and support programs which inspire and empower.
The Barton Center runs two concurrent summer camps serving over 800 campers during 1 week, 2 week and 3 week sessions; Camp Joslin for boys and Clara Barton Camp for girls.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to conduct and oversee the daily planning, facilitation, supervision and maintenance of all aspects of our low and high elements challenge course.
This is a seasonal position which includes room and board.
Responsibilities include challenge course set-up and take-down, visual inspections of all equipment, selecting age appropriate activities, teach and monitor safe use of equipment, supervision during all activities and ensuring adequate staff to participant ratios.
