Job Description

IMPACT economically disadvantaged Maine youth in an award-winning camp as you guide experiential learning, character development, positive relationship building, and the habits and skills to achieve meaningful success in a culture of joy and acceptance.

GAIN comprehensive workforce development skills that include collaborative teamwork, critical thinking, and creative problem solving. Daily opportunities to strengthen leadership skills and build positive, lasting relationships with supervisors, peers, and youth. Customized internships available.

LIVE, work, and play in a breathtaking Maine location 1.5 hours from Portland, ME and 1 hour from North Conway, NH. Accommodations in a camper cabin with plumbing and electricity, nutritious meals, and time off to relax and explore (11 hrs/session/48+ hrs between sessions).

Must be a compassionate high school graduate with a sense of humor, the ability to play while teaching, and a work ethic that includes perseverance, initiative, and motivation to achieve.


Previous experience with a Youth Development organization. Ability to supervise peers.

Additional Information

The Arts & Sciences Director has oversight of Creative Arts & Science & Nature Programming including Theater, Dance, Crafts, Nature Programming, and Night Sky Programs. As a member of the Camp Leadership Team, this position helps to guide daily operations of the full camp.
