The purpose of the ACA Standards Course is to prepare camp directors and administrators for their accreditation visits and to serve as an introduction to the standards program for individuals interested in becoming accreditation Visitors.
The purpose of this course is to bring current Standards personnel and/or camp directors up to date. The Standards Update Course will highlight specific changes to the program as well as review the overall accreditation process to address frequently missed or misunderstood Standards. This course is only for camps familiar with the accreditation process. All camps due for an accreditation visit in 2016 must attend a Standards Update Course or a Full Standards Course.
This course is for any Associate Visitor any who has recently been promoted to Lead Visitor or Lead Visitor who would like a review. The course has been developed to serve as a “stepping stone” between being an Associate Visitor and Visitor.
