On 11/13/15 our 2015 Camp Champions Award was presented to Lisa Loeb, Leading Summer Camp Advocate & Philanthropist. Grammy®-nominated singer/songwriter (platinum-selling Number 1 hit song "Stay (I Missed You)") Lisa Loeb’s own life-changing camp experiences as a camper and counselor continue to inspire her efforts as a camp supporter and advocate.
“I wanted to share the summer camp experience with kids who wouldn’t normally have the opportunity to go to camp. Kids can learn a lot about themselves, have fun, become great leaders, members of the community, and challenge themselves by trying something they’ve never done before. It’s an amazing experience that resonates through your entire life. How could I not share that?!”
